Pepe Reina says he will honour his Milan contract before ‘becoming a winning Coach’ and Gianluigi Donnarumma will be ‘very important on the world stage’.

Reina signed a three-year contract with Milan over the summer but is firmly behind Donnarumma in the Rossoneri’s goalkeeping pecking order, only seeing game time in the Europa League so far.

“I want to enjoy my football for the next three years and then I’ll study to become a winning Coach in the future,” the 36-year-old told Onda Cero.

“Would I coach Real? Maybe if the chance came up… There are teams like Barcelona, who formed me not only as a player but also as a person, yet Real are the dream of any Coach.

“Donnarumma is 19 years old, he has great room for improvement and we’re all trying to help him.

“He’s a goalkeeper who will be very important on the world stage and he’ll be Italy’s No 1 for many years to come.

“Ronaldo is an attraction for Serie A. I think Serie A has become more attractive since his arrival. He’s a player who generates great enthusiasm.”
