Former Inter full-back Yuto Nagatomo admits ‘I risked my life’ after he suffered a collapsed lung while playing for Galatasaray.
Nagatomo has not played since his collision during Galatasaray’s 0-0 draw with Schalke last month, but the Japanese is grateful that he is still alive.
“After the game against Schalke, the doctor told me to go immediately to hospital,” he told reporters.
“If I didn’t, I’d have risked my life. Now I’m in good condition.”
