The side from Luxembourg were surprisingly leading 2-1 at San Siro for 17 minutes, having equalised before half-time, but a late flurry of goals allowed the Rossoneri to win 5-2.

“We respect Dudelange and they played well today, especially in the first half. It wasn’t easy, because they came here to put in a great performance at San Siro,” Calhanoglu told Sky Sport Italia.

“I think we had a decent second half and that kind of spirit is how we must win. Finally my foot doesn’t hurt any more and I’m in good shape. The most important thing isn’t who scores, but the team victory. A goal is just a bonus.”

Now Milan go into the final game away to Olympiacos with several options, as they can even lose by one clear goal and still qualify for the Europa League Round of 32.
