Milan can afford to lose by some scorelines against Olympiacos and reach the Europa League Round of 32.

The Rossoneri fought back from 2-1 down to beat Dudelange 5-2, while Olympiacos fell 1-0 to Real Betis.

That means the Spaniards are already qualified on 11 points, with Milan second on 10 and Olympiacos following with seven points.

Gennaro Gattuso’s side could technically still top the group, although it seems improbable considering Betis have their last match against Dudelange.

The most important thing is qualification and Milan will be through with a win or draw at Olympiacos.

They could even lose 1-0, as they have a superior head-to-head record with the Greek side, having won 3-1 at home.

However, a 2-0 defeat would put Olympiacos through, as the head-to-head would be identical with more ‘away’ goals for Olympiacos.

Milan could even go through if they lost by two clear goals, but only by scoring at least twice, so 4-2, 5-3, etc.
