Mario Balotelli could be on the move in January, as he raged at Nice Coach Patrick Vieira after a substitution and still hasn’t scored.
The Italy international had been recalled when Roberto Mancini took over the job, but his poor form meant even Mancio couldn’t justify his presence.
Balotelli has made nine Ligue 1 appearances this season, starting eight of them, but is yet to contribute a single goal.
The frustration evidently got to him, as he was visibly furious when substituted 75 minutes into this evening’s 0-0 draw with Guingamp.
Vieira seemed surprised when Balo shouted and pointed at the Coach, then threw his gloves at the bench in rage.
Considering Vieira had called his performance “less than average” after last month’s win in Nimes, there could be more trouble on the way.
It is increasingly likely agent Mino Raiola will push for him to move on in January, having already been in advanced talks with Olympique Marseille over the summer.
