Riccardo Orsolini was inspirational in Bologna’s 3-0 victory over Crotone, setting up a Coppa Italia Round of 16 tie with Juventus.
Federico Santander was out of sorts and missed a couple of early sitters, but Orsolini broke through just before half-time.
Andrea Poli went on the counter, sent Orsolini through and he needed two attempts to get the better of goalkeeper Alex Cordaz.
Orsolini created the second goal, floating a free kick on to the head of Diego Falcinelli at the near post.
The Italy Under-21 international confirmed his sparkling form by adding a third goal himself thanks to a snooker-shot into the far bottom corner.
