Moreno Longo believes the 4-0 result was harsh on Frosinone, but they had to “be practically perfect to get” points against Napoli.

The Partenopei comfortably won 4-0 at the Stadio San Paolo thanks to an Arkadiusz Milik brace, Piotr Zielinski and Adam Ounas.

“When you lose with that scoreline, you have to wonder about the attitude, but the truth is we approached it the right way,” the Coach told Sky Sport Italia.

“When you lose with that scoreline, you have to wonder about the attitude, but the truth is we approached it the right way,” the Coach told Sky Sport Italia.

“Napoli converted the only two chances we allowed them in the first half. Once you are 2-0 down, obviously you have to attack, open up and inevitably there are spaces for a team like Napoli to exploit.

“It’s not an issue of attitude, but of details. In order to get a result in a game like this, you have to be practically perfect.”

Frosinone had lost just one of their previous six Serie A games, but only won once in that run too.

“You have to look at the big picture. It’s a heresy to say you’re satisfied with eight points from 15 rounds, but over the last few rounds we have averaged a point per game and that’s the kind of run you need for safety.

“We have a great deal of confidence, because we proved that we’ve overcome the initial impasse.”
