“After going 1-0 down, we were too frenetic and misplaced so many easily-avoidable passes. Slowly, we got back into the game and pushed to the end, but couldn’t qualify.

“We knew that we absolutely had to win and at times this can work against you, as we were too frenetic and didn’t control the match.

“In physical terms, we cannot challenge teams like PSV. Instead, we must try to be dangerous with crosses. The goal that we conceded ultimately cost us qualification.”
