Juve last faced Atleti in the 2014-15 Champions League, when the Spaniards held them to a 0-0 draw and won 1-0 over two games to progress as group winners.

Diego Simeone's side also have European pedigree, losing two Finals to Real Madrid in 2014 and 2016, before winning the Europa League last season.

Elsewhere, Paul Pogba's Manchester United face Paris Saint-Germain and Liverpool lock horns with fellow giants Bayern Munich. 

The first legs will be played across February and 12-13 and 19-20, with the return games scheduled for March 5-6 and 12-13.
