Zlatan Ibrahimovic confirms he’s staying in MLS rather than moving to Milan - “I’m not done with you yet…”
The LA Galaxy striker was linked with a return to the Rossoneri and talks did take place, but technical director Leonardo confirmed earlier this month the move wouldn’t happen.
Ibra wasn’t a Designated Player in his first season, meaning he was subject to the league’s salary cap, but it’s expected he’ll be a DP for the 2019 season.
This afternoon the Swede confirmed he’s staying in the U.S with a message on his Twitter profile.
“MLZ I’m not done with you yet…” wrote Ibrahimovic, along with a video featuring the various rumours of his departure.
Ibrahimovic scored 22 goals in just 27 games in his first MLS season.
