Roma Coach Eusebio Di Francesco says facing Porto in the Champions League is “exciting”, even though they have a poor record against them.
The Giallorossi were paired with the Portuguese side in today’s Last 16 draw, and the tactician spoke to the club’s official website about the tie.
“Being back in the knockout phase of the Champions League is yet another exciting moment for this club,” Di Francesco said.
“The draw in Nyon has decided we will face Porto, who won more points than anyone else during the group stage and currently sit top of their domestic league.
“I know that the past meetings between these two clubs do not make for great reading for us, but over the course of these two games we will try to turn around that record.”
