Inter reportedly have a verbal agreement for Aaron Ramsey next summer, but Luciano Spalletti wants the Arsenal midfielder in January.
According to La Repubblica, Inter met Ramsey’s agent on Wednesday, where an agreement was reached in principle for the Welshman to arrive on July 1.
The newspaper explains the 27-year-old is demanding ‘€6-7m a season’, but the Nerazzurri are prepared to meet that sum, given ‘the urgency to invest’.
However, Spalletti would ‘need him immediately’ so new CEO Beppe Marotta will try to ‘satisfy’ the Nerazzurri Coach.
Liverpool, Bayern Munich and Manchester United have also been linked with Ramsey, as have Lazio and Milan, whose CEO is ex-Arsenal man Ivan Gazidis.
