Paris Saint-Germain offered €50m to sign midfielder Allan in January, it’s reported, but Napoli turned it down.
According to the Corriere dello Sport, their original story of a meeting to ask about Allan’s availability went much further than previously thought.
The discussions with director of sport Cristiano Giuntoli in a Rome hotel went so far as to pledge a bid worth €50m.
However, Napoli turned it down and have no intention of losing the Brazil international, especially not mid-season.
Allan impressed PSG during the two Champions League group stage draws.
