Feyenoord pocketed €14m for Rick Karsdorp in 2017, but are now asking to take the Roma defender back on loan.
It’s safe to say Karsdorp has been a flop for the Giallorossi since becoming one of Monchi’s first buys.
Due to various injuries and poor form, he has made a grand total of four appearances in a Roma jersey, playing a total 201 minutes of football.
He is still only 23 years old and remains a Netherlands international, so can be offloaded in January.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport transfer pundit Nicolò Schira, Feyenoord have asked to bring Karsdorp back on loan for the next six months.
It could go through, as Roma hope he can rediscover his form there and be sold on in the summer.
