Kalidou Koulibaly has reportedly already signed a new contract with Napoli worth €6m per year, but there is no release clause.

According to Tuttomercatoweb, the paperwork has been delivered and pen put to paper, so the announcement should come over the next few days.

A salary of €6m per year would make the defender the highest-paid player at the Stadio San Paolo.

Crucially, there is no release clause, meaning anyone who wanted to buy the Senegal international would have to negotiate directly with Napoli President Aurelio De Laurentiis.

The patron boasted last week that he had turned down an offer worth £90m, over €100m, believed to be from Manchester United.

Barcelona, Paris Saint-Germain, Manchester City and Chelsea are also interested, but Napoli have no intention of selling.
