The Orobici flattened Sassuolo 6-2 on Saturday, closing 2018 in eighth place with 28 points, but also as the top scorers in Serie A with 39 goals, surpassing leaders Juventus.

Atalanta had a strong run in the Europa League last season, while they were eliminated in the play-offs by FC Copenhagen in August.
