Wolverhampton Wanderers midfielder Leander Dendoncker is reportedly Roma’s top transfer target this month.
According to Corriere dello Sport, Dendoncker’s agent-brother Andres has already reached out to Roma sporting director Monchi.
The website explains the Giallorossi could negotiate a six-month loan deal for the Belgian with a €15m obligation to buy, which kicks in after he has played a set number of games.
The 23-year-old only joined Wolves last summer, arriving from Anderlecht on a similar arrangement to the one the Lupi would be holding out for.
However, he has yet to start for the Premier League new boys and stands to lose his place in the Belgium squad.
“At the moment I can’t say if the player will leave Wolves. On January 2, we’ll have a better idea and we’ll be able to evaluate the various options,” Anderlecht sporting director Michael Verschueren told La Roma 24.
