Bologna have reportedly struck a sensational double deal with Villarreal for both Roberto Soriano – via Torino – and Nicola Sansone.
It was already well known that the Rossoblu had an agreement to take over Soriano’s contract with Torino, on loan with option to buy at the end of the season for €13m.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Sky Sport Italia and more sources this evening, Bologna have also managed to negotiate a similar package with Villarreal for striker Sansone.
Both players are already said to be in Italy and will undergo their medical tomorrow.
It is a return to Serie A for Sansone, who was sold to Villarreal by Sassuolo for €13m in the summer of 2016.
He has received very limited playing time this season, managing one goal and two assists in seven competitive games.
