West Ham United are prepared to let Pedro Obiang join Roma on loan with option to buy, according to Sky Sport Italia.
The 26-year-old spent most of his career in Italy with Sampdoria from 2008 to 2015, when sold to the Hammers for €6m.
He has been given 16 competitive appearances this season, contributing one assist.
Roma had already wanted Obiang over the summer, but West Ham were unwilling to let him go on loan with option to buy.
According to Sky Sport Italia transfer guru Gianluca Di Marzio, the situation has changed and a deal with this formula is possible in the January window.
