Watford striker Stefano Okaka is expected to undergo a medical with Udinese in the next few days.
Gianluca Di Marzio’s website reports Okaka will arrive in Udine on Sunday and take his medical 24 hours later.
The Sky Sport Italia journalist explains the 29-year-old will join the Zebrette on loan with an option to buy at the end of the season.
The former Italy international last played in Serie A with Sampdoria, leaving in the summer of 2015 to sign for Anderlecht and then Watford.
Okaka was not part of the Hornets’ plans in the first half of the season, managing just 47 minutes of competitive football.
Udinese and Watford are both owned by the Pozzo family, making this a straightforward deal.
