Bayern Munich winger Arjen Robben has revealed he is ‘very proud’ of Inter’s interest and that he will decide his future before the end of the season.
FCInterNews.it reported on Saturday that Inter were hoping to pull off a double swoop for Diego Godin and Robben, both of whom have expiring contracts with Atletico Madrid and Bayern respectively.
“Really?” joked the Dutchman, who turns 35 later this month, in response to a question about the Nerazzurri.
“I’m very proud and happy [to have received offers]. The last few weeks have been quite busy, especially for my father, who’s my agent, but it’s nice to hear that clubs are interested.
“For me, the future is still open, I’m still waiting. I want to wait and focus on getting fit, getting back into the team and playing my football.
“I don’t know when, but of course I have to make a decision. I won’t wait until the end of the season because I have a family and I have to plan ahead a little bit.
“But I repeat, I’m privileged and I feel grateful that clubs are showing interest.”
