By that time, Benatia will be 32 years old and that is a concern for Milan CEO Ivan Gazidis, who is urging his club to go for younger players.
His contract is due to expire in June 2020 and the price-tag is around €12m.
As Juventus and Milan have done several deals in recent years, including Gonzalo Higuain’s loan with option to buy, they should be able to work out terms.
