RB Leipzig have reportedly agreed terms with Hakan Calhanoglu, but Milan Coach Gennaro Gattuso is blocking the transfer.
The Turkey international turns 25 next month and has struggled for consistency since his €21.3m move from Bayer Leverkusen in the summer of 2017.
He has been increasingly subjected to jeers and grumbles from fans, pushing him towards a possible exit back to the Bundesliga.
According to Sky Sport Italia, a deal is essentially done with RB Leipzig, as Calhanoglu agreed terms and the two clubs worked out a fee.
However, Coach Gattuso is putting the brakes on any move, as he is refusing to lose Calhanoglu.
This comes off the back of reports in Panorama magazine that new Milan CEO Ivan Gazidis is getting increasingly close to Gattuso, preferring his opinion over that of director general Leonardo.
