Elseid Hysaj’s agent met with Napoli today to discuss his options amid reports of interest from Chelsea and Atletico Madrid.
The Albania international was one of Maurizio Sarri’s favourites at both Empoli and Napoli, but has fallen down the pecking order since Carlo Ancelotti took charge.
According to Sky Sport Italia, his agent Mario Giuffredi was at the club HQ today for talks with Napoli directors.
His contract is due to expire in June 2021 and there has been interest from both Chelsea and Atletico Madrid.
However, it’s reported Napoli told him he wouldn’t be sold in January unless a suitable offer arrived.
Hysaj turns 25 next month and has a €50m release clause that is valid only for clubs abroad.
