Cagliari are about to sign Sassuolo defender Federico Peluso and send captain Daniele Dessena to Serie B high-fliers Brescia.
According to Gazzetta dello Sport, Peluso will join Cagliari on an 18-month contract after Sassuolo’s Coppa Italia tie with Napoli on Sunday.
The 34-year-old won two Scudetti with Juventus before moving to Sassuolo in 2014, but he lost his place at left-back to Bianconeri loanee Rogerio.
As for outgoings in Sardinia, several reports agree Dessena is on the verge of swapping the Rossoblu for the blue of Brescia.
The Sky Sport Journalist explains Massimo Cellino’s club will pay €600,000 for the midfielder and tie him to a one-and-a-half-year deal, which includes the option of a third season.
Dessena made over 200 appearances for Cagliari across two spells, having returned from Sampdoria in January 2012.
