Antonio Cassano believes Inter would be better off selling Mauro Icardi and poaching Gonzalo Higuain from Milan.
The now retired striker has never been a fan of Icardi and did not hide his disdain after contract talks hit problems.
“If I had a magic wand, I’d take Higuain away from Milan and put him in the Inter squad to replace Icardi,” FantAntonio told Sky Sport Italia.
“Pipita is a great champion. I’d tell Icardi if he wants to leave, then goodbye and have a nice journey.”
While Higuain is pushing for a move to Chelsea, Icardi has been linked with Real Madrid, Barcelona, Manchester United and Juventus.
