Brescia boss Eugenio Corini claims Italy starlet Sandro Tonali will be ‘the new Daniele De Rossi’ and not another Andrea Pirlo.
Tonali had been likened to Pirlo in playing style, stature, appearance and the fact he also started his career at Brescia, but Corini believes the 18-year-old will turn out to be more like the Roma captain.
“He’ll be the new De Rossi, a team player,” the former Palermo and Chievo man told Gazzetta dello Sport.
“He doesn’t seem 18 in terms of how he copes with adversity, but he must remain focused on his work.
“I hope he has a better career than mine and plays for the national team.”
