Milan will have to do without Franck Kessie, Alessio Romagnoli and Davide Calabria against Genoa, as they’ll be suspended after the Supercoppa.
The Rossoneri were beaten 1-0 in Jeddah by Juventus this evening and it proved costly going forward in Serie A too.
Kessie was shown a straight red card after a VAR review for his stamp on Emre Can, meaning his ban of at least one match is automatic.
However, Calabria was booked for a foul and captain Romagnoli also given a yellow card for dissent.
They have both accumulated enough yellow cards to warrant a suspension, which will be active from Monday’s Serie A encounter with Genoa.
Suso returns, as his ban has expired after missing the Supercoppa.
