Juventus are reportedly locked in talks with Genoa over a potential swap deal involving Stefano Sturaro and Cristian Romero.
According to Sky Sport Italia, Juventus sporting director Fabio Paratici is meeting Genoa President Enrico Preziosi in Milan, with Sturaro and Romero on the agenda.
It comes after the Gazzetta dello Sport wrote last week that Juve were working on a deal to secure the defender for the 2020-21 season.
The Grifone paid just €1.7m for the Argentine last summer, but they would be holding out for €25m, whereas the Bianconeri value him at €10m less.
Sky, meanwhile, expects the Rossoblu to re-sign the midfielder on loan with €8m option to buy at the end of the season.
It is also understood that the club must activate that option If he completes a certain set number of appearances.
