“Both Napoli and Inter are strong teams, albeit with different characteristics. We’ve got to have the same approach we did in Naples, but without the mistakes that allowed their goals,” said the Coach in his Press conference.
“I watched Inter and perhaps they build play from the back even more than Napoli nowadays. Clearly, we need to put in the perfect performance and hope they don’t do the same.
“Too often, we create some good situations and just get the final ball wrong, so there’s nothing to show for it, not even a shot on target. It’s important to evaluate the performance more than the result and we did well with Napoli.”
Federico Di Francesco and Marlon are out of action, but Claud Adjapong and Cristian Dell’Orco return after long lay-offs.
“Kevin-Prince Boateng was out for a while and he needs time to reach his full fitness. This is not a good period in terms of results, but apart from Roma and Atalanta, I’d say our performances have not been at all bad. We can do more, but we have a strong identity to build on.”
