Fabio Borini will reportedly get the nod ahead of Samu Castillejo for Milan’s trip to Genoa in Serie A on Monday.

Tuttosport claims Borini will start in place of Castillejo on Milan’s left wing after the Spaniard ‘disappointed’ in recent matches against Sampdoria and Juventus.

However, Alessio Romagnoli, Davide Calabria and Franck Kessie are all banned, while Chelsea-bound Gonzalo Higuain has not travelled to Marassi.

Genoa are similarly depleted with seven squad members absent, including the suspended Krzysztof Piatek, although he seems set to join the Rossoneri.

The match will get under way at 14:00 GMT in the interests of public safety, despite the risk of a low turnout.
