Duvan Zapata’s agent insists the Atalanta striker is not Inter-bound but suggests he could be sold if the price is right.

Speculation arose in the Italian Press that Zapata had agreed to join Inter in the summer, but Fernando Villarreal made it clear no such deal was in place.

“Inter are a great club, among the best in Italy and the world, but it’s only talk,” he told Gazzetta dello Sport.

“I can categorically deny that there’s an agreement for his move to Inter at the end of the season.”

However, the 27-year-old – who has scored 14 goals in his last eight games – has since been linked with West Ham United

“You can ‘never say never’ in football and if any convenient opportunities for the player and club crop up tomorrow then we could talk about them,” added the representative.

“However, right now Duvan is only and exclusively thinking about Atalanta and he wants to give his best for these colours.”

The Colombian is a quarter of the way into his two-year, €12m loan with Atalanta, who have a €14m option to buy from Sampdoria in 2020.
