Inter could reportedly send Sime Vrsaljko back to Atletico Madrid this summer as they are not prepared to take up their €17.5m option to buy.
According to AS, Inter deem their purchase option for Vrsajlko [pictured, right] ‘too high’ and will reopen talks with Atleti to see if they will accept a lower fee.
The newspaper is certain the right-back will join the Nerazzurri permanently if his price is dropped but warns a return to Wanda Metropolitano ‘can’t be ruled out’.
Inter paid €6.5m to loan the 27-year-old last summer, but a knee injury has limited him to just 13 appearances this season.
