Gonzalo Higuain has been given the all-clear to fly out to London, as Milan, Juventus and Chelsea finalised all the details, claim Sky Sport Italia.

The closure came this evening and Higuain is expected to wait until the morning so he can fly to London on a private jet.

If Higuain’s contract is registered by midday on Wednesday, then he will be eligible to play against Tottenham on Thursday.

However, it’d be a tight squeeze to get the medical done and contract registered.

The domino effect was sparked by Milan agreeing a €35m deal with Genoa for Krzysztof Piatek, who is arriving in Milan this evening and will have his medical tomorrow morning.

Milan therefore interrupt the Higuain season-long loan, paying €9m rather than €18m, with €36m option to buy from Juventus.
