Parma are trying to bring Juan Manuel Iturbe back to Serie A from Mexico and Pumas, according to Sky Sport Italia and Sportitalia.

He is currently playing for Mexican club UNAM Pumas, having struggled at Roma, Bournemouth, Torino and Club Tijuana.

The Paraguay international is still only 25 years old and Parma believe it is not too late to get the best out of him.

Iturbe shot to fame at Hellas Verona in 2013-14, earning a €24.5m move to Roma, but never hit those heights again.
