Marko Pjaca is expected to stay at Fiorentina for the rest of the season after reportedly rejecting an offer from Genoa.

Genoa had been locked in talks for Pjaca after Fiorentina and Juventus both agreed to let the winger make the move.

However, Sky Sport Italia reports the 23-year-old wants to keep fighting for his place in Tuscany as opposed to help plug the gap left by Krzysztof Piatek.

The Croatian only joined the Viola on loan last summer with a €20m option to buy but has gone on to start just eight Serie A games at the Artemio Franchi.
