According to several English sources this morning, including BBC Sport, the Gunners have stepped forward with negotiations for the Croatia international.

He has always said he’d like to play in the Premier League and has been increasingly frustrating for Nerazzurri fans, with performances at club level not matching his international outings.

It’s reported Arsenal have offered to take Perisic on loan with an option to buy for €40m, or including Ozil as part of the exchange.

However, Sky Sport Italia and more Peninsula sources insist Inter are only prepared to accept cash.

“It’s natural Perisic is talked about, because everyone values him the same way we do. If someone is interested, the conditions have to be right to pay his value, because he is such a strong player,” Luciano Spalletti told Sky Sport Italia.

The Coach also commented on the situation in his Press conference.

“If someone wants to sign him, then they must create the conditions to pay for him, because this is a very strong player.”
