Alanyaspor defender Merih Demiral will be in Italy on Tuesday for his medical with Sassuolo in a €7m deal.

According to Sky Sport Italia, the terms were agreed and he will have one final game in Turkey before the transfer to Serie A.

Technically, 21-year-old centre-back Demiral is owned by Sporting CP, but is currently on loan to Alanyaspor.

It’s believed to be a loan with €7m obligation to buy.

Sassuolo Coach Roberto De Zerbi confirmed in Friday’s Press conference that they were in talks for Demiral and Benfica striker Facundo Ferreyra.

It’s also reported this move was completed in synergy with Juventus, so the Bianconeri will have an option on him going forward.
