Bottom of the table Chievo have completed the signing of Saint-Etienne midfielder Assane Dioussé, on loan with option to buy.
The 21-year-old Senegal international is not new to Serie A, as he started out in the Empoli youth academy and was sold to the French club for €5m in the summer of 2017.
So far this season, he has made 10 competitive appearances for Saint-Etienne.
It is an impressive coup for the Flying Donkeys, who started the season with a three-point penalty for financial irregularities and are propping up the Serie A table.

There is some confusion over the exact details of this transfer, because Chievo's official website states it is a loan with option to buy, whereas Saint-Etienne's insists there is no option.
