Milan captain Alessio Romagnoli complimented teammate Krzysztof Piatek on “an extraordinary performance” against Napoli.
The former Genoa striker made his full debut and scored both goals in the 2-0 Coppa Italia quarter-final victory at San Siro.
“We were in the game for the full 90 minutes. We started so well with Krzysztof and I compliment him for an extraordinary performance, then we just stayed in control.
“Now we wait and will see who we face,” the captain told Rai Sport.
The Rossoneri will take on either Inter or Lazio in the semi-finals, which will be played out over two legs.
First up, they have a showdown with Roma in Serie A this weekend.
“Roma represent a head-to-head for the Champions League and we need to beat teams like this to secure fourth place.”
