“We have improved both tactically and technically, but Torino are a quality team who represent a tough challenge,” said the Coach in his Press conference.

SPAL are fresh from a surprise 2-1 win away to Parma, but have hitman Andrea Petagna suspended, so Alberto Paloschi is tipped to lead the attack with Mirco Antenucci.

The minnows have invested over the January transfer window with several new signings, although not all of them are ready yet.

“Alessandro Murgia is available and capable of playing 90 minutes, as he was training regularly with Lazio. Vasco Regini will need a couple of weeks to be at his best.”

The most impressive arrival was Jankovic, the 23-year-old Montenegro international winger who joined from Partizan Belgrade on deadline day.

“Jankovic is a player with the kind of characteristics we were missing in this team and he can allow us to change system too, either from the start or during the game.”

SPAL squad for Torino: Gomis, Poluzzi, Viviano; Bonifazi, Cionek, Felipe, Regini, Simic, Vicari; Costa, Dickmann, Fares, Kurtic, Lazzari, Missiroli, Murgia, Nikolic, Schiattarella, Valdifiori, Valoti; Antenucci, Floccari, Paloschi, Spina
