Line-ups: Inter v Bologna

Ivan Perisic returns to the starting XI for Inter as they host Bologna, making their debut under new Coach Sinisa Mihajlovic.

It kicks off at San Siro at 17.00 GMT.

Luciano Spalletti is under huge pressure after some dire results, including a draw with Sassuolo, defeat to Torino and midweek Coppa Italia quarter-final exit on penalties to Lazio.

Matteo Politano begins his two-match Serie A ban, with Sime Vrsaljko, Keita Balde Diao and Borja Valero injured.

It means Spalletti restores Perisic to the starting XI after he was dropped amid an Arsenal transfer request, joined by Radja Nainggolan and Antonio Candreva supporting Mauro Icardi.

Cedric Soares gets his first start at right-back after arriving from Southampton, with Dalbert on the left.

Inter are wearing special jerseys in honour of New Year with the names in Chinese characters.

Bologna are rooted in the relegation zone and sacked Pippo Inzaghi after a humiliating 4-0 home defeat to Frosinone, bringing in Mihajlovic.

It’s a return to San Siro for Sinisa, who ended his playing career at Inter and started out as assistant manager to Roberto Mancini, then called this stadium home as Coach of Milan.

Bologna have Filip Helander and Federico Mattiello suspended, with Nicola Sansone injured.

They immediately throw new signing Lyanco into the back four following his move from Torino, while Simone Edera is on the bench.

Rodrigo Palacio faces his old club with Federico Santander and Riccardo Orsolini.
