Andrea Ranocchia has warned that Inter ‘have to work on our mentality’ after their 1-0 defeat to Bologna in Serie A on Sunday.
Inter fell to their third straight loss, fanning fears of another mid-season slump for the Nerazzurri, who went on a similar run last term.
“It’s a similar situation to the one we experienced last year,” Ranocchia told Inter TV.
“We have to work on our mentality. I think that’s where we need to insist on working right now.

“We have players who are technically strong and they haven’t forgotten how to play football, so we must change our mentality.
“We have to be more solid, both when we’re ahead and concede goals.”
The defender was applauded by Beneamata fans, having been introduced as an 11th-minute substitute for his first Serie A appearance of the season.
When I came on, I was just thinking about the game,” he added.
“The three points were very important for our position in the table.”
