Lucas Biglia could reportedly be called up to the Milan squad to face Cagliari on Sunday night.
The 33-year-old has been sidelined with a calf injury since the end of October, limiting him to just 11 appearances so far this season.
However, Coach Gennaro Gattuso could be handed good news ahead of the weekend as Biglia trained with the rest of the squad on Wednesday and could be in contention to return, according to Sky Sport Italia.
Tiemoue Bakayoko has impressed in his absence, and so Gattuso will have a decision to make over whether or not Biglia is immediately restored into his starting line-up.
