Genoa boss Cesare Prandelli claims the Grifone ‘aren’t just a club’ as ‘they embody the culture of football’.

Genoa are considered one of Italian football’s sleeping giants, given they are its most enduring team and won eight top-flight titles between 1893 and 1924.

“I have so much motivation, a great deal of anger inside of me, a crazy desire to put myself in discussion every day,” Prandelli, who ended an eight-year exile from Serie A in December, told Tuttosport.
