Sergej Milinkovic-Savic has been diagnosed with a “Grade I lesion to the adductor in the left thigh,” confirmed Lazio medical staff.

The Serbia international went off during Thursday’s victory against Empoli.

“It isn’t good news for Milinkovic,” doctor Fabio Rodia told Lazio Style Radio.

“The tests showed a Grade I lesion to the adductor in the left thigh. He has started specific treatment and will have further tests over the next few days, but such a diagnosis requires several days before we can quantify how long he’ll be out for.

“Joaquin Correa and Luis Alberto trained normally this morning. Ciro Immobile has an elongation of the left thigh flexor and is being monitored on a daily basis. He’ll soon have tests to quantify how long he’ll be out for, so we are optimistic, but also prudent. He has to return in the right moment.”
