The Bianconeri have the opportunity to go 11 points clear at the top of the table, as Napoli were held to a 0-0 draw by Fiorentina on Saturday.

However, the Bianconeri have gone off the boil lately, scraping past Lazio, crashing out of the Coppa Italia with a 3-0 loss to Atalanta and fumbling a 3-0 lead to draw 3-3 with Parma last week.

Dybala is again dropped, as he had to apologise to Max Allegri for storming off during the final minutes of the Parma game when he realised he wouldn’t be introduced as a substitute.

La Joya is replaced this time by Federico Bernardeschi, completing the trident attack in a 4-3-3 with Mandzukic and Capocannoniere Cristiano Ronaldo.

There is still a lengthy injury list, missing Giorgio Chiellini, Leonardo Bonucci, Douglas Costa and Juan Cuadrado, with Andrea Barzagli only fit for the bench after a long lay-off, so Martin Caceres again plays with Mattia De Sciglio at right-back.

Sassuolo have midfield enforcer Alfred Duncan suspended, while Marlon is on the treatment table.

Berardi as always leads the trident attack, this time with Domenico Berardi and Filip Djuricic, while Francesco Magnanelli is still not fully fit, so the midfield has Manuel Locatelli and Stefano Sensi.

It’s a special game for ex-Juventus players Rogerio and Pol Lirola.

Sassuolo: Consigli; Lirola, Magnani, Peluso, Rogerio; Bourabia, Sensi, Locatelli; Berardi, Babacar, Djuricic

Juventus: Szczesny; De Sciglio, Caceres, Rugani, Alex Sandro; Khedira, Pjanic, Matuidi; Bernardeschi, Mandzukic, Cristiano Ronaldo
