Dybala is on the bench again just days after he was forced to apologise for storming off from the touchline during the 3-3 draw with Parma.

“It is a technical decision made by the Coach. Paulo made a small mistake, he apologised, that’s all there is to it. There’s nothing strange,” Paratici told Sky Sport Italia.

The director did have more positive news, confirming defender Rugani is ready to sign a new contract.

“We are happy to tie Rugani to the club for a long time.”
