Tottenham Hotspur will reportedly launch a summer assault for Inter winger and former Arsenal target Ivan Perisic.

According to Tuttosport, Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino ‘fell in love’ with Perisic during the Champions League group stage.

The newspaper adds Spurs ‘already came forward’ for the Croat in January and will resurrect their interest this summer.

The 30-year-old was recently reintegrated into Inter’s squad after a proposed move to Arsenal fell through last month.

Nonetheless, he is still expected to leave and Tuttosport claims there could be scope for ‘the likes of Moussa Sissoko and Serge Aurier’ to head the other way.

While Aurier has struggled for first-team football, however, Sissoko has become a key player for the Londoners this season.

Tottenham also went successive transfer windows without making any signings.
