Prior to agreeing to join Juventus, Aaron Ramsey reportedly spoke to both Real Madrid and Barcelona over a summer move.
It was officially announced by the Bianconeri on Monday that the Welshman would be joining them this summer, signing a four-year contract as his current deal at Arsenal is set to expire.
However, it's been suggested that Juve held off stiff competition from around Europe to secure his signature.
"Real Madrid, Inter, Paris Saint-Germain a very good offer from them as well, Bayern Munich and some preliminary talks with Barcelona as well," BBC Sport reporter David Ornstein told the Football Daily podcast.
"So Ramsey had the upper hand in these negotiations. It seems Juventus, who were always his preferred choice from a footballing perspective, seem to have come up trumps on the money side as well."
